I installed three central units . Two were heat pumps in the house and 1 was not a heat pump and it was in garage apt.

The two heat pumps had to have the mother boards replaced early on about 6 months. They are now 16 years old and my AC guy says I need to replace them soon.
I am not happy with a heat pump because I have to run them at 70 to make the house cool. If I set the thermostat higher it is too hot even with ceiling fans.

I think I am going with another brand. I am still looking. I am in Alvin area . Any one know any one that can do a good job with out taking me to the cleaners?
