Central Ac Unit That Was Installed And Not Needed

I had a central air conditioner unit installed I was told I needed a new one. After the installation the new unit was doing the same thing that the old unit did.

I now found out that it wasn't the unit but I have leaking ducts. Can I hold the company responsible even though the contract says they are not responsible for duct work. This should have been checked before the unit was installed.

The ducts inside the house are leaking. Buy removing the covers the air comes into the house. With it on it stops the air flow. The air conditioner company is coming back out on Monday to repair the vents. My vents are on the floor. I have a mobil home

Why would you need to take the grill off the vent to make the new central ac unit work properly?

Should it works properly in the first place? I think someone is taking advantage of your kind heart.

The ducts were never replaced. They never told me they were leaking until their technician came to check. I took the grills off the vents so the new unit would work properly

I’m kind up lost here. I thought the problem was a leaking duct and it was fixed. What with “took the grills off the vents and the air conditioner is working fine.”

My old air conditioner during the day it constantly ran. I would get up to 85 degrees and then ant night it would be fine. The new unit is doing the same thing. I took the grills off the vents and the air conditioner is working fine.

Contractor Replace Good Hvac Unit

The contractor will sometime focus on profit first. They make profit by selling you a new central air conditioner unit.

You didn?t tell me what the old ac unit did. I don?t know if you can hold them responsible for replacing your old ac unit (nothing wrong unit) with new ac units.

You can hold them responsible for not fixing the problems. The contractor said there was something wrong with the old hvac unit and they replace it. After replacing the old unit, it still does the same thing.

You can hold them responsible for that. You should had call them back and ask what wrong with the new central air conditioner unit.
