American Standard = Low Quality & Breakdown

by Nancy
(Arizona)

My brand new, expensive American Standard central ac unit was installed in July 2009 and in September 2010, blew completely. It's 100 degrees outside and I have no cooling.
.
Customer service . . . not much is happening. My AC guy has taken photos to send to American Standard in Dallas. So I guess it's now just a bureaucratic exercise in paperwork.

.
I do not get the idea that American Standard cares much about this.

.
Don't be a fool - stay away from this brand.

Do you agree on that statement? American Standard is equal to low quality and break down, i think we all have to study about that. Check college essay writing service reviews because this is the only way of testing or checking any network quality and standards.

Which companies manufacture all their own coils or compressors? I see multi manufacturers supplying parts for one major brand. Needless to say, multiple issues, but the strange thing....same issue all week but on varying brands...weird, coincidence?

American Standard AC - installed 1999
by: Tony

We put in a 31/2 ton central air conditioner in 1999. This Spring (2011), the compressor failed. For the last two years there was a refrig. leak, which had to be recharged each year.

I will not be looking to replace this unit w an Am Std model.

Addendum - American Standard Comes Through!
by: Nancy - Arizona

I want to update my review of American Standard. After my 14 month old air-conditioner blew out, I was disappointed and felt that the company didn't care. I was wrong. American Standard has replaced my air-conditioner and I am cool again in Arizona. Thank you, American Standard!
