I was looking to buy a new central air conditioner unit in Florida; I needed something good and not expensive. The ac tech gave me different options, and explained everything to me.

The difference on price between Trane, Carrier, Lennox vs Ruud was the minimum 675 dollars, taking in consideration same tonnage, seer rating, refrigerant, warranty.

I decided to go with Ruud, have same efficiency and warranty, why pay more for just a name. I am very happy with my new central air conditioner system and the company that installed it.
