Ruud Hvac Is Nightmare

Brand new unit never worked right. replaced the compressor, coils, fan motor, capacitor. the thing froze up and overflowed leaked all over and we had to replace Sheetrock.

Has broken down 3-4 times each summer for the last three years.Spent a fortune in repairs and now it just broke down AGAIN!! Nightmare!!

Had a complete matched RUUD AC 16SEER Ultra unit installed in late August 2010 and used it about two months.Used it in summer 2011 but in the spring 2012 it quit cooling.

The entire coil had to be replaced (under warrenty) because of a manufacturing defective.

The installer had two other RUUD installations that day for the same problem. Still not working right. My 16 year old Rheem unit sets alongside outdoors and still works great..new coil a few years back.

It is less than 2 years old, on a home I use 6 months out of the year. When I need it, it's broke.
Had th EVAP coil replaced in less than one year. Had the fan and Smart board replaced before the second year.
The model is RSPM-AO48JK 4 ton in a 1200sq Ft Moble home
Don't buy a Rudd !!

Installed 16 Seer 4tn Ruud central ac unit 10/22/2010 $8,000 dollar Investment.Loud Harmonic sound coming from blower wheel.

Motor and wheel bearing replaced 01/24/2011.I am left with the same sound an complaint.

Air Handler Heats the house well but the wheel sounds out of balance.The loud Harmonic sound is annoying to the point I would not purchase this product indoor handler again.

Had new one installed in 2004 and has had problems every since - especially with leaks and freezing.

Just had a three ton Rudd put in and can not hear guests or tv at normal levels. When it turns on, it is too loud. It is cool, but can not live with the noise.
