The noise is definitely coming from the blower on the inside of the house in the basement. I checked the outside unit and it sounds perfect.

The noise coming from the blower in the basement is more loud and intense than the normal sound. It sounds like it is about to bust.

Loud, shaky and just abnormal compared to when the unit runs. Our house is only 10 years old, it is the original air conditioner.

Loud Indoor Sound

Perhaps, the sound is not from indoor blowers, it could be the blowers surrounding environment. Had you check the duct-work connection.

The loud sound is coming from a source, and you will need to find that sources. You need to listen and look for the sound.

Having same problem. After two visits from A/C service still no resolution. Tells us everything is fine. Tighten everything and replaced capacitor with no resolution. Anyone?????

My AC had the loud noise and now it will not run at all. Did anyone ever find out what it was and the cost.

my central ac unit is doing the same thing. just wondering if you ever found out what was wrong with it. was it an expensive fix? now our's will not run at all.
