Lennox XC14

We have 15 years old Lennox central ac unit replace with a new Lennox XC14 unit (2.5 ton/30,000btu/16 SEER), the total Cost for this central ac unit and install was $3600 parts and labor in upstate NY.

We basically had it replaces everything (outside unit/inside unit) because of new refrigerant type.

The homeowners left few info, “3600 dollar parts and labor in upstate NY” does not including new duct-work, refrigerant copper line. I’m not quite sure if this is NY City or state.

I will be really happy if someone in NY area replaces my central ac unit for 3,600 dollar. This is NY; 3600 is just seemed too low in that area.

I will presume the 3,600 dollar is for the condenser unit and the entire indoor unit, and does not including the furnace unit.

I have never been to NY state or city! I hear NY area is expensive place to live it. I hope I clarify the info above. By the way, the labor cost to fix HVAC unit from 78 – 120 dollar in this area.

This approximation is for weekday, weekend and within or after business hours. The cost above came from five different HVAC Service Company in NY area.
