leaking

My central air conditioner unit on the inside of my house is leaking profusely. I checked the pipe for condensation and it is running water very well. I also had a technician check it and he could not find anything wrong either. He checked the freon and the levels are okay too.

I think that the problem is that the pipe for condensation is probably stopped up somewhere and I need an opinion.

In my AC unit the freon pipe is cold (sweating water) but the bigger pipe is hot, which is supposed to be the other way around. What caused that ?

go outside by your condenser and find the white pvc drain line(where the water drips out)....take of the little "l" part at the end and put a garden hose with a strong nozzle against it(a SQUEEZE nozzle prefferably)........turn your hose on, put nozzle right against pvc drain and squirt...counting 1-1000, 2-1000, 3-1000 and then stop and let the hose water flow back out........do this about 5 or 6 times...youlll see a bunch of gunk flop out eventually, keep doing it til the gunk stops and then put bottom part of pvc drain line back on, shut off your hose, and go put some bleach or algecide tablets in your drain pan(the pan under your air handler)...do this twice a year and your drain lines will stay free of mold, mildew and algae build up.....if you have any other ? write me at lbny1959@aol.com

my amana unit is about 1 year old.it started leaking about a month after it was installed, problem was the drain pan was cracked. they had to replace the drain pan last year and now they have another pan ordered since it started to leak again. this might be the same problem you have.
