Heating and Air Conditioning in Michigan

Needed new furnace for 1600 sf split level home in Michigan. Winters are very cold and snowy; summers are very hot and humid.

Had a Goodman 95% high efficiency furnace installed. Cost about $3,500. Was installed in December. Works like a champ. Had a 13 SEER, 2.5 ton Rheem A/C unit installed. Just shy of $2600. Total cost in the $6,100 range.

Had several estimates that exceeded $7,000, but researched brands, units, and companies and am really happy with what I got.
