Goodman Hvac 12 Years and Counting

The original Goodman hvac system installed in my Houston,Texas home is still doing a great job. I have it checked out every two years starting at year six, It had some Freon added at year ten and just had a capacitor on the outside fan motor changed out this summer.

The tech stated that the power surges and spikes we have in Texas currently,have caused a much higher number of capacitor change outs. He said that after checking the system pressures and amp draw that it is running strong.

I hoping to get 14 years before before changing out the system for a more efficient Goodman SEER 16 system.
