Bought new 14 seer central air conditioner unit in 5/2010. The company doing the installation recommended some minor reconfiguration of the duct work which I allowed them to do, I also had them install a new digital thermostat.
Install went well, professional team, cleaned up was exceptional. Lennox Ac unit was a poor performer right from the jump. Slow, poor cooling quality, which I complained and the servicemen came numerous times to make little adjustments.
No change. Then 5/2011, on routine service they find a leak in header (they called it a factory defect) before they could get back to fix it, the system freezes up, hot house.
They repair it. 6/2011, less than 30 days later, come home again to a hot house. Repairman comes out, found defective dem switch, another factory defect. They told me Lennox was the Cadillac of AC's, I'll take a Hyundai, it will probably run better and cost half the price!
I paid $7500 for a piece of junk(my house is less then 1200 sq feet). Lennox sucks!!! Sizzling hot in AZ!
