Central Ac Unit smells

Occasionally, coming from the vents on the floor, an odor of rotten eggs is coming through the vents when the central ac is running.

the central ac unit is in the basement of an office. the ac unit is old and is not covered - that is you can see the workings. It is giving me a headache.

Sorry for the late reply; it is winter and cold.

Since a technician had looking at it and I kind of eliminated other possible cause of the smell and I�m not sure where to start. Would you be little more specific..ex, where have the tech look at and which room is the chemical smell came from?

Our house has smells like must-specifically like chemically treated water. We have had our whole unit serviced including the AC unit and ducts.

We cant figure it out! We our on a slab and run the a/c year round. We have been in our house for 7 years and purchased it new. We have had this problem for several years and NO ONE can figure it out. Please help!
