Central Ac Uni Blowing Warm Air

by Consumer

At first my copper line was freezing, so I called someone out to fix it. The service man said it was low on Freon and charged it. It worked fine for a month and then it froze again.

He came back and said it has a slow leak. So he bought out a can. The can is hvacr super stop leak or something like that. He recharged the can into the system. Now my AC will work fine for a little while then all of a sudden it doesn't blow cold air.

This happened the first time so I shut it off for about 8 hours. Turned it on for a couple hours then it started to have cold air again. The cold air lasted about 1 week and now it is blowing warm air again. Sorry I am not home, to see what the model is.

I believe the unit is around 10 years old. The service man stated that the unit looked brand new and he thought the previous owners never used it. I did notice that when it is blowing warm air, the big copper line is warm and the unit outside is blowing cool air not hot. Other than that I did not notice anything different. The outside unit is clean, the coil is clean and it has a new filter in it. Thanks for your time and help

Call Tech
by: Dadan

Hey, Billy

There are so much reason, why central air didn't cooling purpose.

It would cost you so much more by adding Freon yourself. Call your local tech is the best choice.
