Blower Motor Goes Off And On

My A/C unit works hard here in Phoenix AZ. The compressor starts up and the blower kicks in all like it should. However once in a while, not all of the time, at the end of its cycle the compressor shuts off and after about 60 seconds the blower turns off for a second then back on for a second then off again. Otherwise the unit works fine, my concern is the extra strain on the blower motor and the extra power load it is using. The unit is a Goettl Astro Air Piggyback model SIPB45 S/N 7080082. Is this a simple fix?
